Choose a seed packet (each packet has 3-12 seeds), check out gardening books and resources, take them home, and start your gardening journey.
No registration required. Find the new Seed Library in the Reference Department. You're invited to take up to 10 seed packets per season.
Mark Lyons is a master gardener and educator, and was the speaker at our March meeting. Mark provided excellent information to help us successfully grow mouth-watering, tasty garden fruit in our own backyard or container garden. And true to his name, he finished the talk with a song!
Mark provides coaching and consulting services for vegetable gardeners! Check out his website GreenThumbAtYourService.com, and on Facebook.

The Rolling Meadows Library's "Next Reads" newsletter has a Rolling Meadows Garden Club tie-in! You'll get book suggestions related to the club's meeting topics, delivered straight to your email inbox. With your library card number and PIN in hand, sign up for the Next Reads newsletter and select Rolling Meadows Garden Club Tie-In Newsletter. You'll receive the newsletter a few days before our monthly meeting, and can link directly to the book suggestions in the library catalog.
The Rolling Meadows Garden Club was founded in 1999 by a group of people with a common interest in gardening and love of flowers. We share ideas, opinions and stories about successes and failures.
Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month. With light refreshments provided by members, the first half hour is dedicated to socializing before the regular meeting starts. Hands-on workshops, presentations, or discussions follow a short business meeting. We also plan outings, such as picnics or field trips, occasional dinners, and viewings of member's gardens.
