Two (2) $500 scholarships are available to Rolling Meadows High School seniors, for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
📅 Key Dates
● Application Deadline: April 15, 2026.
● Winner Notification: First week of May 2026 (notified in writing).
● Fund Disbursement: Late July 2026 (sent directly to the school's Financial Aid Office).
✅ Applicant Eligibility
To be considered, you must meet all of the following criteria:
● Schooling: Current senior at Rolling Meadows High School in Rolling Meadows, IL.
● Enrollment: Accepted and planning to attend an accredited community college, four-year college, or university full-time (minimum 12 graded hours).
● Qualifying Majors: Gardening, landscape design, environmental issues, floral design, horticulture, agriculture, or a related field.
● Financial Documentation: Must show proof of a completed FAFSA.
📝 Application Requirements
You must submit the following documents digitally via email to rmgcscholarship at gmail dot com.
1. Proof of FAFSA Completion: A screenshot of your account completion message is acceptable.
2. Proof of Acceptance: A copy of your acceptance letter, email, or university portal update.
3. One-Page Essay: Detail your background, career goals, financial need, and any relevant honors or activities (especially horticulture-related).
4. Letter of Recommendation: From someone who can speak to your character and agriculture-related experience, such as a teacher, employer, or 4H leader.
Submission Note: Emails must include your full name and school of acceptance in the subject line. All forms must be typed or computer-generated; scanned handwriting must be legible to be considered.

● Judging: The Scholarship Committee evaluates applications based on the recommendation letter, personal inspiration, current activities, and future goals.
● Usage: Funds are limited to tuition, room, and board. No funds are sent directly to the student.

The Club was happy to present a $1,000 scholarship to Rolling Meadows High School student Tessa Knepper, a 2025 graduate of Rolling Meadows High School. Tessa aims to pursue agricultural research focusing on swine genetics to improve farm productivity and advance organ transplant capabilities. She plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University and will study floral and horticultural sciences while preparing for her research career.
